Poor Jake! It seems he just can’t catch a break. Not only does he get sent back to his days as a lab animal, but he’s back at the time before San Monto used gamma rays to activate his gene therapy. So, while he remembers everything, and he’s still smart,¬†physically he’s just an ordinary jackrabbit/Holland¬†Lop mix. How will he ever get himself out of this mess?

Some folks have wondered why the change to a strip format. I’ll admit that the primary reason is that I don’t have as much free time as I’ve had in the past, but I still wanted to keep telling Jake stories. I also think that the strip format is more conducive to quick gags and faster-paced storytelling, as I don’t want to fall into the trap of another 200 page story arc right now, and Jake does have a tendency to spin out of control. However, this next leg of the journey should be fun as Jake’s origin happens all over again, with some major changes as the timeline has been damaged by Roger’s meddling…
